Intervention implementation

1. Introduction of high yielding, disease resistant rice, wheat, mustard, urd and moong varieties.

2. Introduction of nutrition/kitchen garden, integrated nutrient and pest management (INPM) package for improving nutritional security.

3. Introduction of low cost poultry cages and chick lings for nutritional and income security.

4. Improved nutrition of the livestock through feed supplement and round the year green fodder availability.

5. Introduction of year round cultivation technology of mushroom for income and nutritional security.

6. Introduction of portable vermicompost units to selected farmers for encouraging organic farming .

7. Introduction of improved farm implements and tools for increasing work efficiency and reducing drudgery in agriculture.

8. Capacity building and training of stakeholders on various areas of farming system.
