SOIL LABORATORY

Soil analysis laboratory is a central facility of the Institute for analysis of soil, water and plant samples of field experiments. It is equipped with sophisticated equipments like Kjeltec Auto Analyzer, KEL Plus semi-auto analyzer, digesters, flame photometer, UV-VIS spectrophotometer, CHNS Analyser, GCMS, autoclave, laminar air flow etc. With above facilities, there is a round the clock-working atmosphere in the Laboratory.

AGRONOMY & AGROMET LAB

Agronomy and Agromet Lab is a central facility of IIFSR. The laboratory is a central facility of the Institute and equipped with advanced instruments for catering the needs of all research projects on physiological and soil physical studies. The laboratory harbours equipments like pressure plate apparatus, leaf area meter, centrifuge, photosynthesis systems measurement, Infrared thermometer etc.
